Per Diem CNA – Long-Term Care | Hollidaysburg, PA Job Overview

ABC Nursing Staffing Agency is looking for compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide per-diem support at a long-term care senior nursing facility in Hollidaysburg, PA.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meals, and daily activities.
• Support safe transfers, repositioning, and mobility using proper techniques and equipment, including Hoyer lifts.
• Take and document vital signs and other assigned observations.
• Recognize and promptly report changes in residents’ condition or behavior.
• Provide compassionate care to residents, including those living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease.
• Follow care plans, infection-control procedures, HIPAA requirements, and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with nurses and other care-team members.

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania CNA certification.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and resident-care skills.
• Comfortable assisting with mobility and physical-care needs.
• Familiarity with dementia care and electronic documentation is a plus.
• Dependable, professional, compassionate, and committed to quality resident care.
