Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility when necessary
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates
• Support patient safety by observing for changes in condition and communicating effectively with the healthcare team

Skills

• Proven experience working in medical-surgical units, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute care environments such as hospice or sub-acute facilities
• Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices including aseptic technique
• Experience caring for diverse populations including geriatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental delays
• Excellent communication skills to provide compassionate patient service and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality at all times
