Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working in skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and be committed to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves supporting residents with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety, and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. Candidates must possess current CPR certification and demonstrate a strong understanding of patient care protocols within a long-term care environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Provide compassionate patient care tailored to individual needs, promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor residents’ health status and report any changes or concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility policies.
• Uphold patient confidentiality at all times, respecting residents’ privacy rights.
• Follow all safety procedures, including CPR protocols when necessary, to ensure resident safety.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Prior experience working in a long-term care facility or skilled nursing facility (SNF).
• Proven ability to provide patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Knowledge of patient confidentiality standards and practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks associated with patient assistance and mobility support.
