Certified Nursing Assistant

Job OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in our long-term care facility. In this role, you will help residents with daily activities, monitor their health, and provide a supportive environment that promotes dignity and comfort. [1, 2, 3]Responsibilities and Duties

• Daily Living Support: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and toileting. [1, 2]
• Meal Assistance: Help serve meals, feed residents who need assistance, and monitor daily food and liquid intake. [1, 2, 3]
• Mobility Care: Safely turn, reposition, and transfer bedridden residents or help them walk using proper safety devices and transfer techniques. [1, 2, 3]
• Vital Signs: Measure and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and weight, reporting any sudden changes to the nursing staff. [1, 2]
• Resident Observation: Monitor skin condition, watch for physical or behavioral changes, and report complaints or concerns to nurses immediately. [1]
• Safe Environment: Keep resident rooms clean, comfortable, and well-supplied while following federal, state, and facility safety rules. [1]

Qualifications and Requirements

• Certification: Active and valid CNA license in good standing.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach to elderly care.
• Physical Ability: Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift or support residents.
