Certified Nursing Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – General for a 13-week night-shift contract in Portland, OR. This assignment is ideal for a CNA with Telemetry experience, strong patient-care skills, EPIC experience, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced acute-care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal nursing care to patients under the direction of a licensed registered nurse (RN)
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including nutrition, hydration, elimination, bathing, dressing, feeding, positioning, and personal care
• Take vital signs, including pulse and blood pressure
• Provide assessment data to the certified nurse within the scope of practice
• Observe and report patient status, concerns, and verbal and nonverbal responses to the RN
• Assist with restorative care and positioning devices as assigned
• Perform routine clerical duties, including routing patient reports as appropriate

Required Qualifications:

• Strong patient-care skills
• Ability to assist patients with activities of daily living
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Telemetry environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work under the direction of a licensed registered nurse

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
