We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort.
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature using appropriate medical equipment.
• Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory-related conditions, ensuring safety and dignity.
• Assist with complex procedures such as catheter care, wound care, and aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to observe changes in patient condition and communicate effectively about patient needs or concerns.
• Use assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and other mobility aids to safely transfer patients with varying levels of mobility.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
• Support patients in emergency situations by performing basic life support (BLS) procedures when necessary.
• Engage with diverse patient populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health clients, and individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program.
• Proven experience working in healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices including aseptic technique.
• Experience providing specialized care such as Alzheimer's/dementia care, hospice support or trauma center procedures is highly desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings such as ICU, emergency medicine or urgent care environments.
• Strong communication skills coupled with compassion for patient-centered care.
• Physical stamina to perform caregiving duties involving lifting, transferring using Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids; ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
