CNA Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and effective care under the supervision of the DSD and charge nurse LVN.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Monitor and promptly report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Support residents in maintaining comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Accurately document all care and observations in the facility’s medical record system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote resident health, safety, and quality of life.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.

Requirements

• Active California CNA certification (in good standing).
• Minimum of 1 year CNA experience in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to use paper and electronic documentation platform for charting and care management.
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to providing high‑quality resident care.
