Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment such as Hoyer lifts
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient observations accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems like PCC.
• Support medical procedures by preparing patients, maintaining aseptic techniques, and assisting with medication administration under supervision
• Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or behavioral health needs in memory or assisted living facilities
• Maintain patient safety by adhering to HIPAA regulations, infection control protocols, and proper documentation practices
• Engage with patients experiencing complex conditions like infectious diseases or requiring hospice or palliative care

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in accordance with state regulations
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) certification
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting with Hoyer lifts and assisting with patient transfers safely
• Compassionate caregiving skills with experience supporting individuals with disabilities or behavioral health needs

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
