Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Provides supportive nursing care to patients/clients within an assigned unit, as delegated by our professional nurses
• Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned
• Assists physicians and other healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Reinforces, supports, and provides health care instructions to patients and their families
• Participates in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities
• Assists with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges
• Observes and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individuals
• Records patient charts and maintains environmental conditions conducive to patients' comfort and safety

Requirements:

• Currently licensed or otherwise duly authorized to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the State of Illinois
• Ability to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
