We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team at a 250-bed, 5-star rated skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Lewiston, NY.

Our facility is committed to providing high-quality, resident-centered care in a supportive environment where CNAs are valued as an essential part of the interdisciplinary team.

Position Responsibilities

As a CNA, you will provide hands-on care and support to our residents while promoting their dignity, comfort, safety, and independence.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing compassionate personal care to residents
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Obtaining and documenting vital signs and other assigned measurements
• Assisting with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility
• Answering call lights and responding promptly to resident needs
• Observing residents and reporting changes in condition to nursing staff
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Promoting resident safety and following infection-control procedures
• Supporting residents' physical and emotional well-being
• Working collaboratively with RNs, LPNs, therapists, physicians, and other members of the care team
• Maintaining resident privacy, dignity, and confidentiality at all times

What We Are Looking For

• Current New York State CNA certification
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred, but motivated new CNAs are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Compassionate approach to resident care
• Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position
