Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and document patient health status and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning of patients.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and family members.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Rhode Island.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused, and dependable.
• Previous CNA experience preferred but not required.
