Certified Nursing Assistant-Night Shift

Duties

• Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems.
• Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease and ensuring a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare standards including infection control protocols.
• Support patients in behavioral health or mental health settings by providing empathetic caregiving tailored to individual needs.
• Engage in ongoing training on EMR/EHR systems to document patient information efficiently.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support procedures.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare teams and support patient needs.
