Part-Time Contract Position

S & M Medical Group is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and self-motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing multidisciplinary pediatric team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced Occupational, Physical, Speech, and ABA professionals who value collaboration, clinical excellence, and family-centered care.

We are currently seeking providers located in or willing to serve the Kendall area.

Position Summary

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) will provide pediatric occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children reach their full potential and enjoys working collaboratively with families, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) License
• Minimum of 1 year of pediatric experience preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Current CPR Certification
• Level II Background Screening/Fingerprinting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client locations

Preferred Education

• Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Compensation & Schedule

• Job Type: Part-Time Contract
• Pay: $40–$43 per hour
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Flexible scheduling available based on caseload and availability
