Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and mobility to promote independence and safety.
• Support the implementation of treatment plans developed by licensed occupational therapists, ensuring therapeutic goals are met effectively
• Help monitor and document patient progress accurately, maintaining detailed care documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals—including physical therapists, massage therapists and acupuncturust—to coordinate comprehensive care strategies.
• Facilitate patient transport within facilities or to external appointments while ensuring safety through manual handling techniques
• Communicate effectively with clients and caregivers to provide education on therapy exercises and adaptive techniques tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and medical imaging relevant to occupational therapy practices.

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient or clinic environments providing occupational therapy services.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute effective treatment plans.
• Strong understanding of medical imaging procedures and their relevance to therapy when applicable.

Pay: $26.45 - $34.85 per hour
