Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with licensed occupational therapists to deliver high-quality therapy services aimed at improving patients' independence and quality of life. Your expertise will support clients in the home health setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans developed by occupational therapists for clients of all ages, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, manual handling, and other therapeutic exercises to enhance their independence.
• Help monitor and document patient progress, updating care documentation accurately and consistently.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Contribute to the creation and review of care plans, ensuring treatment plan implementation aligns with patient goals and physiology knowledge.

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited program.
• Prior experience working in inpatient settings, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, or home health environments is highly preferred.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
