What they need

Join Our Growing Team: Full-Time Pediatric COTA/L

We’re growing, and our team is looking for another wonderful COTA to join us!

At Rainbow Occupational Therapy, we believe the best care happens when we put real human connection first - between our therapists, our kids, and their families. We’re a pediatric practice that truly prioritizes quality time and strong relationships over rigid productivity quotas, and we’d love to find a like-minded Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who shares that heart.

We’re looking for someone who brings kindness, warmth, and a genuine passion for learning to their work every day. If you love helping kids thrive and are always looking for ways to learn and grow alongside a supportive team, you’ll feel right at home with us.

The Role & Setting

This is a full-time Home Health position serving pediatric clients where they feel most comfortable across New Hanover and Brunswick County, NC. You’ll have the space to provide meaningful, dedicated one-on-one care in:

  • Private homes
  • Daycares
  • Schools

What We Offer

We care deeply about taking care of our team so you can focus on loving what you do:

  • Flexible Scheduling: Work-life balance actually matters here. We’ll work with you to build a daily flow that makes sense for your life.
  • Support for Your Growth: We offer reimbursement for Continuing Education and License Renewals because we love seeing our team expand their skills.
  • Time Off to Recharge: Paid Time Off (PTO) eligibility starts after three months of employment.
  • Full-Time Stability: Join a dynamic, expanding local practice with a steady and supportive environment.

Who You Are

  • A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with an active North Carolina license.
  • Someone who leads with heart, warmth, and respect for every family.
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to keep growing as a clinician.
  • Comfortable traveling to see kiddos throughout the coastal NC region.

How to Apply

If you’re ready to step away from high-volume productivity demands and join a practice that puts patients first, we’d love to connect with you!

Please send your resume and a short note introducing yourself and sharing why connection-centered care matters to you to [email protected].

We can’t wait to meet you!

Pay: $33.00 - $37.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Continuing education credits
