Certified Ophthalmic Technician

We’re looking for a dependable, organized ophthalmic technician/scribe to join our team. This role combines patient workups, ophthalmic testing, and scribing for the physician.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient histories, review medications, and perform vision testing.
• Assist with ophthalmic testing and imaging according to training.
• Accurately document exams, findings, and treatment plans as directed by the physician.
• Prepare exam rooms and help keep patient flow running smoothly.
• Work closely with our physicians and clinical team to provide a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• Ophthalmology or optometry experience preferred.
• Scribing experience and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, computer skills, and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a busy clinic.
• Nextech/IntelleChartPRO experience and COA/COT certification are a plus.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
