Schedule: Flexible, including mornings, evenings and weekends

Merz Built Fitness is seeking a motivated, professional and client-focused Personal Trainer to join our growing team. We are a private, 24/7 training facility built around personalized coaching, a supportive community and a high standard of professionalism.

This opportunity is ideal for a trainer who wants to grow or has their own personal-training business while also receiving qualified leads generated through the gym. We are especially interested in expanding the diversity of our coaching team and strongly encourage female and bilingual trainers to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safe, effective and individualized training sessions.
• Perform client consultations and fitness assessments.
• Develop goal-specific training programs.
• Track client progress and provide ongoing accountability.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients.
• Build and manage your own clientele.
• Follow all facility policies and maintain a clean, professional environment.
• Represent the Merz Built Fitness brand with integrity and professionalism.
• Respond promptly to leads provided by the gym.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized personal-training certification or Higher level college degree.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Personal-training or group-fitness experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, punctual and self-motivated.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Ability to build strong relationships and retain clients.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Experience training women, beginners, general-fitness clients or weight-loss clients is a plus.

Compensation and facility-use structure will be discussed based on experience, availability, existing clientele and leads provided by the gym.
