We are looking to hire a trainer that has the ability to travel and train between all three clubs (Deep River, Madison, and Guilford).

Job Duties and Responsibilities

· Be the face of the club! You will be the first thing members and prospective clients see when they walk in the door. You will be responsible for making sure members feel at home at their AF location.

· Conducts fitness consultations for new clients including pre-participation screening, Medical History, Lifestyle questionnaire, and goal setting to assess and recommend personal training programs.

· Develop individualized exercise programs consistent with a member’s personal fitness and exercise goals.

· Instructs clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment.

· Work with management team to achieve monthly revenue goals.

· Attend weekly/monthly team meetings.

· Learn how to administer body scan technology and interpret results.

· Partners alongside member sales team to promote membership sales.

· Ensure facility cleanliness and tidiness.

· Remains current on certifications, continuing education and new trends in the industry.

Qualifications

· Strong verbal, communication and interpersonal skills

· Demonstrate a high level or compassion and empathy for those around you

Position Requirements

· High School Diploma or GED

· Certified personal trainer from a nationally accredited organization (i.e. NASM, ACSM, ACE, NASM, NSCA, ISSA, etc) We are willing to support through the certification process or working towards a certification.

· CPR, First Aid and AED Certified

· Knowledge of fitness, endurance training, strength/power training and program design, using the tools given to optimize client results

· Desire and capacity to coach all fitness levels

· Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and be able to bend, stand, reach, climb and lift up to 40 pounds

Preferred Requirements

· Previous sales experience

· Customer service experience

Job Type

· Part time: 10-20 hrs/week

· Trainer Pay - $28.00 per hour

· Staff Pay - $17.00 per hour
