APEX Pharmacy is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our growing pharmacy team. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing excellent customer service, supporting safe medication practices, and working effectively with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and facility staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, filling, labeling, and dispensing.
• Enter and maintain accurate patient and prescription information.
• Communicate professionally with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and long-term care facilities.
• Assist with medication packaging and preparation for delivery.
• Process insurance claims and assist with resolving billing issues.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and follow pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, stocking, and expiration-date checks.
• Prepare medications and documentation for facility and patient deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy environment.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.
• Perform other pharmacy technician duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician registration required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Experience with pharmacy dispensing software preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, professional, and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule

Full-time or Part-time available
Schedule will be discussed during the interview.
