Certified Pharmacy Technician

Certified Pharmacy Technician (Full-Time) - Virginia Certification is a MUST.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends

What You'll Do

• Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Receive and process prescriptions while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Submit and troubleshoot insurance claims and manufacturer assistance programs.
• Select, count, measure, label, and prepare medications for dispensing.
• Maintain inventory by stocking medications and monitoring supply levels.
• Prepare the pharmacy each day by sanitizing work areas and equipment.
• Complete administrative and recordkeeping tasks as assigned.
• Follow all pharmacy regulations, security procedures, and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Virginia.
• Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification.
• At least two (2) years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program.
• Experience using electronic pharmacy management and prescription processing systems.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy law, medical terminology, medications, and dosage calculations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in any of the following are encouraged to apply:

• Over-the-counter (OTC) products
• JOBST® compression garments
• Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

• Retail Pharmacy: 2 years (Required)
