Certified Pharmacy Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional patient service, assisting with medication dispensing, and supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced medical environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail pharmacy, as a certified pharmacy technician. Duties

• Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions and phone calls
• Support intake procedures for new patients, verifying insurance and prescription details
• Be able to navigate pharmacy software systems
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely medication delivery and patient care

Qualifications Preferred

• Prior pharmacy technician experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and IV infusion procedures
• Strong patient service skills with a focus on compassionate care and communication
• Ability to handle intake procedures efficiently and accurately process transactions as a cashier
• Certification as a pharmacy technician is preferred but not mandatory; relevant training or internship experience is a plus
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
