POSITION AGREEMENT

POSITION TITLE: Technician

MANAGER’S POSITION: Store Manager

Result Statement: This position is responsible for the following results:

Perform the duties of interacting with customers, accurately inputting the data and filling prescriptions, supporting the Pharmacist’s role with patients and working well with the team.

Position Specific Standards: The following are quantity and behavior standards for this position:

• Working with the sync program to coordinate refill schedules, patient outreach, and physician communication to ensure patients get all their medications on one convenient monthly pickup
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications to patients accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and manage inventory, ensuring proper storage and labeling of medications.
• Process prescription orders and handle customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
• Utilize computer systems to enter and retrieve patient information and prescription details.
• Perform medication counting, labeling, and packaging according to established procedures.
• Follow up with prior authorizations and keep patients informed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff to provide excellent patient care.
• Adhere to all pharmacy regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Active NC CPhT certification in good standing
• 1+ years retail/independent pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience with medication sync and adherence programs
• Strong communication skills--comfortable calling patients and providers
• Detailed-oriented, reliable, and a team player
