Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of Pioneer Rx Software.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients in accordance with established protocols.
• Provide patient service by answering inquiries regarding medications and their proper use.
• Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and assist in managing stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
• Perform medication reconciliation for patients upon admission and discharge as needed.
• Support the pharmacy team in various operational tasks to enhance workflow efficiency.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is required.
• Pioneer Rx Software Experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy or acute care setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and patient care.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
