Certified Pharmacy Technician I

Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Technician provides exceptional care of patients by assisting the Pharmacist in the safe, accurate and timely dispensing of medications and the maintenance of pharmacy inventory.

Qualifications:

• Education:

• Current registration with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

B. Job Knowledge:

• Strong multi-tasking, basic computer skills, good customer service and communication skills needed.

• Ability to prioritize work to meet customer needs.

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations to perform accurate dosing

• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
