Role Description

We have open Certified Pilates Instructor roles in our Los Angeles locations (West Hollywood, Mar Vista and Ocean Park). The instructor will lead Pilates group classes based on Speir's class formats , provide clear cueing and safe progressions, and tailor modifications to meet a wide range of client needs and fitness levels. The role also involves greeting clients, supporting check-in processes, answering questions about classes and studio offerings, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment. The instructor will collaborate with studio leadership on programming, uphold studio cleanliness and equipment standards, and may participate in special events, workshops, or promotional activities as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Pilates credential from a recognized program.
• Strong Pilates Instruction skills, including reformer-based training (audition required)
• Experience leading group exercise classes with effective cueing, class pacing, and safe progressions for varying fitness levels.
• Strong understanding of functional movement concepts to support safe alignment, injury prevention, and appropriate modifications.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to create an inclusive, professional, and encouraging environment for all clients.
• Demonstrated teaching skills, including clear communication, patience, and the ability to educate clients on technique and body awareness.
• Comprehensively certified in Classical Pilates a plus (with additional opportunities in Mar Vista)
• Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends as scheduled.
• Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with the studio team.
• Experience in boutique fitness or luxury wellness environments is a plus.
