Certified Pool Operator *

This position is responsible for the monitoring and upkeep of the facility’s filtration and chemical systems, maintaining the proper water balance and overall cleanliness and safety of the entire wet area under the direction of the Aquatic Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following Tests and adjusts water chemistry to meet State/County code standards and sanitation regulations, and equipment manufactory’s recommendations.

Maintains and sanitizes pool decks, showers and other equipment/furniture in the wet area.

Practices preventive maintenance for (but not limited to) pumps, suction lines, drains, hair and lint strainers, flow and control switches, flow meters, and gauges per American Family Fitness standards.

Maintains an inventory of equipment and supplies and assures that sufficient supplies, materials and equipment are available for safe and efficient operation of pool systems.

Report all repairs and maintenance needed to any and all equipment pertaining to the pools’ equipment and/or wet area.

Maintains current knowledge of developments of pool equipment, facility renovation and maintenance techniques.

Adheres to the maintenance, testing and cleaning schedule provided by the Aquatic Manager.

Performs other related duties assigned by the Aquatic Manager.
