Key Responsibilities

• Design, test, and refine prompts to maximize output quality, reliability, and efficiency across SynAI use cases.
• Collaborate with AI and engineering teams to understand system architecture and integrate prompt strategies into workflows.
• Conduct structured experiments using prompt variants, prompt chaining, few-shot, and zero-shot techniques.
• Evaluate prompt performance and document measurable improvements and outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate LLM failure modes, including hallucinations, inconsistencies, and prompt injection risks.
• Translate business and functional requirements into effective prompt design patterns and reusable templates.
• Prepare clear and concise reports covering experiments, findings, impact, and recommendations to support go/no-go decisions.
• Work independently and deliver measurable results within short, defined engagement timelines.

Required Qualifications

• Formal Certified Prompt Engineer certification is mandatory.

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience with hands-on Prompt Engineering.

• Hands-on experience designing, testing, and optimizing prompts for LLM-based applications.

• Strong understanding of LLM behavior, context windows, and tokenization.

• Practical knowledge of:

• Few-shot prompting

• Zero-shot prompting

• Chain-of-Thought prompting

• Prompt chaining

• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) prompting

• Understanding of hallucination mitigation and prompt injection risks.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight timelines.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Experience working in experimental, innovation-lab, or rapid-prototyping environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms and integration patterns.
• Exposure to Agentic AI and multi-step reasoning systems.
• Experience with prompt evaluation, experimentation, and optimization frameworks.
