ABOUT THE ROLE

The CPA is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the company’s fixed assets and ensuring accurate accounting records in compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements. The role also assists in monitoring Accounts Receivable and reviewing adjustments that may affect sales, profit, and other income.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain accurate and complete records of fixed assets, including acquisitions, transfers, capitalization, depreciation, impairment, and disposal.

• Ensure proper capitalization, depreciation, and disposal of assets in accordance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.

• Conduct regular reconciliation and verification of fixed asset records against accounting records and physical assets.

• Assist in monitoring and reviewing Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions and balances.

• Review and validate AR adjustments, ensuring proper documentation, authorization, and accounting treatment.

• Monitor adjustments affecting sales, profit, and other income and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.

• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with concerned departments to resolve accounting and asset-related issues.

• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, reports, and documentation related to fixed assets and accounts receivable.

• Assist in internal and external audits by providing accurate records and supporting documents.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and asset management procedures.

• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred/required,
• Relevant experience in general accounting, fixed asset accounting, accounts receivable, or financial reporting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of PFRS/PAS, accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting requirements.
• Knowledge and experience in fixed asset management, capitalization, depreciation, and asset disposal.
• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and financial adjustments affecting sales, income, and profit.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial records and transactions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism in handling financial and company information.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with different departments.
