Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial accounting processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards, and preparing accurate financial reports. This role requires proficiency in financial software, spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office tools to support the organization’s financial integrity and reporting accuracy. The CPA will play a crucial role in maintaining the general ledger, conducting data analysis, and supporting corporate accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive financial accounting tasks, including maintaining and reconciling the general ledger.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP standards.
• Utilize spreadsheets and Excel data analysis techniques to interpret financial data and identify trends.
• Manage corporate accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Use financial software to record transactions, generate reports, and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in the development of financial reporting packages for management review.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data entry and reporting.
• Support internal audits and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Certified Public Accountant or in a similar financial accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis and spreadsheet management.
• Experience working with financial software systems relevant to corporate accounting functions.
• Demonstrated ability to handle general ledger accounting tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reporting and data analysis.

Pay: $88,068.17 - $106,060.59 per year
