Certified Red Cross First Aid & BLS Instructor

Your Schedule, Your Call

• Pick up classes on weekdays, evenings or weekends.
• Teach a few sessions a month or build a near-full-time calendar.
• Classes are booked and confirmed in advance, so you can plan your week around them.

Pay That Rewards Your Credentials

• $22–$30 per hour (CAD), based on your certifications and experience.
• Instructors with BLS or EMR credentials and strong class feedback can earn at the top of the range, and sometimes beyond it.

What We Handle for You

Your Role

• Lead hands-on First Aid, CPR/AED and/or BLS courses for individuals and workplace groups in the Halifax area.
• Create a welcoming, confidence-building classroom.
• Deliver every course to Canadian Red Cross standards.

What You'll Need

You must hold at least one active Canadian Red Cross Instructor-level certificate:

• First Aid & CPR Instructor
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor
• Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) Instructor

Participant-level certificates (such as a Standard First Aid or BLS provider card) do not qualify.

You'll also need reliable transportation, strong communication skills and a love of teaching. Bilingual or multilingual instructors are a plus.
