Certified Surgical Scrub Technician

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Scrub Tech to join our dynamic team at Mercury Surgery Center. As a Scrub Tech, you will play a crucial role in providing support during surgical procedures in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining a sterile field during surgical procedures utilizing .
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth operation in the operating room.
• Collect and document all specimens accurately during procedures.
• Adhere to Infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections.
• Demonstrate proficiency in handling surgical instruments and equipment.
• Provide exceptional care to patients.
• Effectively communicate within the healthcare team.

Experience:

• Previous experience working in an <Ambulatory Surgery Center/Hospital Medicine> preferred.
• Basic life support (BLS) required ACLS certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of Urology practices and procedures a plus
