Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Join our esteemed healthcare team as a Surgical Technologist and play a crucial role in assisting during OPHTHALMOLOGY surgical procedures. We operate in a fast-paced ASC environment and are dedicated to delivering top-notch patient care.

*Responsibilities:*

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are sterile and ready

• Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies

• Maintain a sterile field throughout the procedure to minimize the risk of infection

• Handle specimens carefully to ensure accurate labelling and processing

• Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure smooth workflow during procedures

• Provide post-operative support by dressing wounds and transferring patients to recovery areas

*Requirements:*

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist

• Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge

• Ability to analyze situations quickly and make sound decisions

• Prior experience in a medical-surgical setting is preferred

• Knowledge of patient care principles and practices

• Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and interpretation

• Ophthalmology experience preferred
