Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - Eye Surgery

Full Job Description We are looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our team.

We are a short 30-min drive from Downtown Dallas.

Hourly Range: $20-40, pending experience - DOE Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Position

• Experience with eye surgery (loading IOLs/setting up phacoemulsification machine/etc.)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) prepares the operating room by sterilizing and setting up the necessary equipment for the procedure.
• Handles instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
• Responsible for assembling all equipment and ensuring it functions properly.
• Selects and checks case charts and preference cards for correct instrument pan(s), packs, sterile supplies, and additional items needed for the case to facilitate timely procedure start times
• Schedule: Tuesday or Thursday, no on-call required

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited surgical technician program or equivalent
• CST certification or able to obtain within 1st year of employment
• 1 year of experience as surgical technologist within eye surgery is preferred
