For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team in Boston, MA for the school year.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.

We Have Several Teaching Opportunities Available Throughout The Area

• Boston Children’s Hospital: Flexible 1:1 bedside tutoring for school-aged children and adolescents, Monday–Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. (No benefits provided)
• Boston Float: Full-time travel between Waltham, Boston, Somerville, Chestnut Hill, and Needham, with mileage reimbursement.
• Concord: Part-time role working with adolescents, Monday–Friday from 1:00–5:00 p.m.
• North Shore Float: Full-time travel between Concord, Amesbury, Lowell, Salem, and Methuen, with mileage reimbursement.
• South Shore Float: Full-time travel between Norwell, Pembroke, Middleborough, and Dedham, with mileage reimbursement.
• Special Education Teacher: Full-time role in Westborough working with K–12 students.
• Holyoke Teacher: Two Full-time roles in Holyoke working with K-12 Students.
• Providence, RI: Part-time role working with adolescents, Monday–Friday from 9:00 a.m–1:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• B.A/B.S degree from an accredited institution
• MA Teaching Certification
• Comfortable working with K-12 aged students
