Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT)

My Vet Animal Hospital is a privately owned veterinary practice that believes in work/life balance and commitment to gold standard patient care. We are looking for a compassionate, thorough and organized Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team.

VETERINARY TECHNICIAN MAJOR JOB DUTIES:
-Analyze cytologies including urinalyses, CBC's, fecal floats, and skin scrapings
-Surgical monitoring
-Medication preparation, calculations, and administration
-Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
-Obtain diagnostic radiographs
-Proper animal restraint
-Vaccination preparation and protocol
-Cleaning, polishing, and charting teeth during dental prophylaxis
-Client education
-Assist in cleaning and maintenance of the hospital and all equipment

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 38.0 per week
