Certified Welding Inspector
Respected Steel fabricator seeks CWI:
- Ensure that all welded components, building frameworks, and assemblies comply with engineering blueprints, customer specifications, and strict industry safety codes.
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credential
- 5+ years of experience quality control experience specifically within structural steel fabrication
- Read and accurately interpret structural blueprints, detailed shop drawings, and industry-standard weld symbols AWS A2.4
- NDT Coordination
- Full understanding of common welding processes such as FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, and SAW.
- Prevent defects and enforce code adherence
