Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and certified Yoga Instructor to lead engaging and inclusive yoga classes. The ideal candidate will have experience in various yoga styles, including body sculpture using weights, and possess a passion for promoting physical and mental well-being. This role involves designing and delivering in-person yoga sessions that accommodate participants of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. The instructor will be responsible for creating a positive, motivating environment that encourages participants to achieve their fitness and mindfulness goals. Classes are scheduled twice a week, each lasting sixty minutes, with potential for additional sessions based on demand.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person yoga classes twice weekly, each session lasting approximately sixty minutes. Additional sessions may be added upon request based on participation and interest.
• Design class structures suitable for all skill levels, ensuring accessibility for beginners while providing challenges for advanced practitioners.
• Incorporate various yoga styles, including traditional yoga practices and body sculpture techniques using weights, to diversify class offerings.
• Lead classes with clear instructions, demonstrations, and modifications to accommodate individual needs and ensure safety.
• Foster an encouraging and supportive environment that promotes physical health, mental relaxation, and overall well-being.
• Monitor participant progress and provide guidance or modifications as needed to enhance their experience and safety.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while adhering to safety guidelines and best practices in yoga instruction.

Experience

• Certified Yoga Instructor with relevant credentials demonstrating expertise in multiple yoga styles.
• Experience teaching in diverse settings with participants of varying skill levels is preferred.
• Familiarity with body sculpture techniques using weights and general fitness training is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate participants of all backgrounds.
• Ability to create engaging class plans tailored to different skill levels while maintaining a safe environment.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
