Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Certified Yoga Instructor to lead engaging and inspiring yoga classes for diverse groups of participants. Responsibilities

• Design and deliver dynamic yoga classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety.
• Demonstrate yoga poses, breathing exercises, and sequences clearly to facilitate effective learning.
• Provide personalized guidance and modifications to accommodate individual needs and limitations.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid protocols.
• Motivate participants through encouraging coaching, fostering confidence and sustained engagement.
• Educate clients on body mechanics, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and the benefits of yoga for overall health.
• Support program development by creating new class formats that incorporate elements of Pilates, body mechanics, or other fitness disciplines as appropriate.

Experience

• Certified Yoga Instructor with recognized credentials from an accredited organization.
• Proven experience teaching group fitness classes with strong demonstration and coaching skills.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to yoga instruction.
• Background in fitness industry roles such as personal training or group fitness coaching is highly desirable.
• Experience working in health clubs or fitness centers, with familiarity in gym equipment use and manual handling techniques.
• Additional certifications in Pilates instruction, Mat Sculpt are advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients and motivate diverse populations toward their fitness goals.

Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2.0 – 10.0 per week
