Manager Distribution & CFA Network Development | 6-7 years | Bangalore

We are hiring for a fast-growing beverage scale-up known for bringing back authentic Indian flavours. As the business expands across markets and channels, we are looking for a Distribution & CFA Network Development professional who can build and expand the company's distribution infrastructure.

This is not a warehouse operations role. We are looking for someone who has handson experience in identifying locations, evaluating and appointing CFAs/dark stores, negotiating commercials, setting up new distribution points and managing the

partner relationship thereafter.

A fast-growing beverage scale-up on a mission to bring authentic Indian beverages to consumers across India. The organisation is expanding rapidly across traditional trade, modern trade, e-commerce and quick-commerce channels, creating an opportunity to build distribution infrastructure from the ground up.

Responsibilities

1. Identify and develop new CFA / distribution points based on business and market requirements.

2. Identify suitable locations and partners for CFA / warehouse / dark-store setup.

3. Evaluate potential CFA partners, negotiate commercials and drive CFA

appointment.

4. Lead the end-to-end setup of new CFAs / dark stores, including infrastructure

and operational readiness.

5. Develop and expand the CFA and distribution network across new and existing

markets.

6. Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure

smooth activation of new distribution points.

7. Manage relationships with appointed CFAs and distribution partners, ensuring

adherence to agreed commercial and operational terms.

8. Analyse distribution coverage, market potential and logistics requirements to

identify opportunities for network expansion and optimisation.

9. Support new market launches, including distribution infrastructure planning and partner onboarding.

10. Monitor CFA performance, service levels, costs and network effectiveness.

Requirements

1. 67 years of relevant experience in Distribution, Channel Development, CFA

Development, Dark store Setup, Dark store Operations, Market Expansion or

Sales Infrastructure.

2. Strong hands-on experience in CFA identification, appointment and setup.

3. Experience in setting up dark stores / distribution centres / fulfilment points,

particularly for e-commerce or quick-commerce businesses, will be highly

relevant.

4. Proven experience in partner identification, commercial negotiation and

onboarding.

5. Strong exposure to distribution network expansion and new market launches.

6. Experience with FMCG / Food & Beverage / Beverage / D2C / E-commerce /

Quick Commerce businesses.

7. Candidates from Coke-Pepsi bottling partners and similar FMCG distribution

ecosystems will be considered.

8. Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Important: Candidates whose experience is limited to day-to-day warehouse operations, inventory management, dispatch or primary/secondary stock movement without CFA appointment/network development experience may not be relevant.
