Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive sustainable growth. The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, risk analysis, and strategic planning. This role demands a proactive leader with extensive experience in corporate finance, compliance, and industry-specific financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial analysis, forecasting, and business development to support organizational objectives and ensure fiscal health.

Duties

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including long-term planning and growth initiatives.
• Oversee accounting functions ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant regulations such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
• Lead the preparation of accurate financial statements, reports, and forecasts for internal management and external stakeholders, interpreting complex financial data to inform decision-making.
• Manage risk assessment processes including risk analysis, risk management strategies, and regulatory reporting to mitigate potential financial exposures.
• Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow optimization, funding strategies, and banking relationships to support operational needs.
• Oversee revenue management, cost control, budgeting, expense management, and profit & loss analysis to ensure fiscal discipline across departments.
• Drive business development efforts through fundraising initiatives, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), strategic partnerships, and market analysis to expand organizational impact.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in accounting and finance leadership roles within corporate or non-profit sectors with proven success in managing large teams.
• Strong knowledge of financial concepts including financial statement analysis, financial modeling, forecasting analysis, and strategic management.
• Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance standards such as SOX, ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition), COSO (Internal Control Framework), IFRS, and GAAP.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and financial software for accurate reporting and data analysis.
• Exceptional skills in negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and executive leadership with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in risk analysis, risk management strategies, and industry knowledge of financial regulations relevant to the organization’s sector.
• Ability to develop comprehensive financial projection models and interpret complex financial reports to guide strategic decisions.

Pay: $170,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
