Change & Communications Lead

Freshwater Recruitment is working with a global organisation looking for an experienced Change & Communications Lead to support the rollout of AI-enabled workflows across its business.

You’ll play a key role in turning a global AI transformation strategy into practical change and communications activity, working closely with business leaders, technology teams and local stakeholders to make sure people are ready for the changes ahead.

The role

You’ll take ownership of the change and communications activity for specific areas of a wider enterprise AI programme, supporting deployments from initial planning through to go-live and beyond.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering change plans aligned to the wider AI transformation strategy.
• Understanding how AI-enabled workflows will affect roles, processes and ways of working, and identifying where additional support is needed.
• Working with senior stakeholders and business leaders to build engagement and communicate the benefits of AI adoption.
• Creating and delivering targeted communications, engagement activities and training plans.
• Building relationships with change champions, super users and local teams to encourage adoption.
• Monitoring readiness, identifying risks and addressing barriers to adoption.
• Supporting go-live, post-deployment activity and the transition into business as usual.
• Tracking adoption and benefits, using lessons learned to improve future rollout waves.

About you

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Experience delivering change and communications within complex, global transformation programmes.
• A background in AI, digital transformation, automation or technology-enabled change.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across business and technology teams.
• Experience in change impact assessments, business readiness, training and adoption planning.
• The ability to turn complex technology changes into clear, engaging messages that resonate with different audiences.
• A practical, hands-on approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced and often complex environment.

Experience working with Prosci or ADKAR methodology would be beneficial.
