Change Management Engineer

Experience : 4-8 Years

Title : JD for Change Management Position

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the Change Management process end-to-end
• Review and validate change requests for completeness and risk
• Ensure proper impact assessment, testing evidence, and rollback plans
• Manage and facilitate CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings
• Maintain the Forward Schedule of Changes (FSC)
• Coordinate changes across infrastructure, applications, and vendor teams
• Ensure changes are implemented within approved change windows
• Govern Emergency Changes and ECAB approvals
• Ensure Post Implementation Reviews (PIR) for failed or major changes
• Track and reduce change failures and change-related incidents

Governance & Reporting

• Ensure compliance with Change Management policies and ITIL practices
• Prepare weekly and monthly change reports
• Monitor change success rate, emergency changes, and backlog
• Highlight high-risk changes and potential conflicts

Stakeholder Coordination

• Communicate planned changes to business and technical teams
• Escalate risks or conflicts to leadership when required
• Work closely with Incident, Problem, Release and Service Management teams

Skills & Experience

• Strong knowledge of ITIL Change Management
• Experience with ITSM tools (ServiceNow / Jira / Remedy)
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing CAB governance
