What they need

What You'll Do… As a Change Management Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and driving engineering, manufacturing and business change across our growing organisation.

Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, PMO and Operations teams, you will ensure changes are assessed, governed, planned and implemented effectively. You will own the change process from initiation through to implementation, helping to minimise risk while supporting product development, industrialisation and manufacturing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to broaden their exposure across multiple functions and play a key role in supporting large-scale manufacturing programmes.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate engineering, manufacturing and operational change requests from initiation through to implementation.
  • Assess the impact of proposed changes on quality, cost, delivery, manufacturing and supply chain activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure changes are reviewed, approved and implemented effectively.
  • Facilitate change review boards and stakeholder meetings to drive timely decision-making and resolution of issues.
  • Support product development, industrialisation, NPI and manufacturing ramp-up activities through effective change management.
  • Develop and continuously improve change management processes, tools and governance frameworks.
  • Monitor change performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility and delivery.
  • Create dashboards, reports and data-driven insights to support management decision-making.
  • Support the development and implementation of digital tools and systems used to manage engineering and manufacturing changes.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to business stakeholders on change management best practices.

Who We Are… Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We will design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company.

The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands, and we are currently building a state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset. This multi-billion-pound investment is one of the largest ever made in the UK automotive sector and will create thousands of jobs across the region and wider supply chain.

What You'll Bring…

  • Experience within engineering, manufacturing, automotive, battery, aerospace or other complex industrial environments.
  • Experience managing engineering changes, product changes, process changes, NPI activities or configuration management processes.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cross-functional project delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to assess technical information and coordinate implementation activities across multiple teams.
  • Experience driving continuous improvement and process optimisation initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop meaningful insights.
  • Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Business Management or a related discipline.

What You'll Get… As a new company, our reward scheme is constantly evolving. We continue to review the market to deliver a competitive benefits package, which currently includes private healthcare, car allowance, company bonus, enhanced parental leave policy and a cash allowance to boost your benefits.

We are a flexible business that is committed to promoting work-life balance, partnering with YuLife to provide our team members with total wellbeing support.

You'll work in a rapidly scaling environment with the backing of Tata Sons, helping to build the UK's largest battery manufacturing facility while playing a key role in shaping processes and ways of working from the ground up.

Agratas is a place to be authentically you. At Agratas we strongly believe that people are at their best when they feel supported and happy in their workplace. To that end we continue to cultivate a diverse workforce which protects the individuality of each team member. We therefore warmly welcome applicants from any race, gender, sexuality, and ability.
