Change Manager - Ecommerce (Retail)

We are looking for an experienced Change Manager to support and lead business change across a major Ecommerce / Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) transformation within a retail environment. This is a long-term contract, The role is based in Poland however open to people are willing to visit once every couple of weeks, however you must be able to speak Polish . The successful candidate will have strong experience delivering business change within retail, ideally across Ecommerce or D2C environments, and will have a good understanding of how changes to technology, processes, operating models and organisational structures impact the customer and wider business.

You will have a strong understanding of the retail Direct-to-Consumer operating model , including good-practice organisation design , and will be comfortable working across the different functions and teams involved in Ecommerce transformation. You will have proven experience leading business change through the full programme lifecycle , from inception and mobilisation through implementation, go-live and transition into BAU, with a strong track record of identifying business change risks and leading appropriate mitigation activity to help de-risk go-live .

A good understanding of recognised business change methodologies is essential, with Prosci/ADKAR certification or equivalent Change Management training highly desirable. Recognised certifications could include Prosci/ADKAR, APMG Change Management Foundation or Practitioner, CCMP, Change Management Institute accreditation, or equivalent professional Change Management training .

The role will require strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills , together with the ability to manage resistance and challenging stakeholders effectively. This is not a requirement for a highly senior “big hitter”; however, you will need sufficient gravitas and confidence to work with senior management , influence decision-making and manage challenging conversations, including some interaction with ExCo-level Directors .

The ideal candidate will be a strong, hands-on Change Manager with retail Ecommerce/D2C experience , who can operate effectively across a complex transformation, bring structure to the change agenda, identify and manage risks, and build strong relationships with both business and technology stakeholders. Experience of working within a large or multinational retail environment would be advantageous.
