The client is seeking an experienced Change Manager to support a high-profile payroll function through a period of ongoing transformation and operational change. This role will be embedded within the Payroll team and will play a key role in delivering change management, communications, and stakeholder engagement activities across both business-as-usual (BAU) and project-based initiatives.

Role

The successful candidate will partner closely with Payroll, HR, Technology, and business stakeholders to drive adoption of payroll process improvements, remediation activities, and system enhancements. Experience supporting payroll functions and payroll system change is essential, with exposure to ADP Lyric highly regarded.

Accountabilities

• Lead and deliver change management activities for payroll-related projects, including payroll remediation, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Conduct change impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies across affected stakeholder groups.
• Support the successful adoption of payroll process, policy, and technology changes.
• Monitor business readiness and adoption outcomes throughout the change lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with Payroll, HR, Technology teams, program leadership, and business stakeholders.
• Partner with the Payroll team to support BAU communications and engagement activities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Change Manager delivering organisational change within payroll, HR, workforce management, or related business functions.
• Strong background supporting payroll transformation, payroll remediation, or payroll system change initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• Experience supporting payroll platforms such as ADP Lyric, SAP Payroll, Workday Payroll, Chris21, Ascender, or similar enterprise payroll solutions.
• Understanding of payroll operations, compliance requirements, awards, and enterprise agreements.
