Channel Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, consolidate, and validate data from multiple sources, including sales, inventory, merchandising, and operations.
• Develop and maintain regular reports, dashboards, and scorecards using Excel, SQL, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
• Analyze channel performance, sales trends, Out-of-Stock (OOS), On-Shelf Availability (OSA), inventory movement, and other key business metrics.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
• Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for internal teams and clients.
• Identify business trends, gaps, and opportunities, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Support client presentations by preparing executive summaries, charts, graphs, and data visualizations.
• Work closely with Operations, IT, Sales, and Client Services to resolve data issues and improve reporting processes.
• Assist in developing and enhancing automated reporting tools and dashboards.
• Document reporting processes, report definitions, and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in projects related to process improvement, business intelligence, and data analytics.
• Perform other analytical and reporting tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Lookup Functions, Charts).
• Working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and reporting.
• Experience in Tableau and/or Power BI for dashboard development and visualization.
• Experience with Python for data analysis or automation is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of sales, inventory, merchandising, retail, or FMCG reporting is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple reports and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in FMCG, retail, merchandising, or field operations analytics.
• Knowledge of OSA (On-Shelf Availability), OOS (Out-of-Stock), inventory, and sales performance reporting.
• Experience working with large datasets and business intelligence platforms.
