We design, manufacture, install, and maintain signage for petroleum marketers, fuel retailers, restaurants, and other multi-location businesses. Our integrated capabilities help customers manage signage and branding projects from initial concept through installation and ongoing maintenance.

Position Summary:
The Channel Letter Line Fabricator supports production by operating equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and preparing plastic and metal materials to complete signage while maintaining workflow with the department to fulfil work orders.

Job Details:

• Full-time, non-exempt hourly, Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clock into the workorder in the job costing system to ensure labor hours are attributed to proper job number.
• Operate and maintain channel letter equipment that shapes metal into letters (SDS channel bender and trim cap bender).
• Assemble metal bodies to form each letter (channel letter cans).
• Fit and trim acrylic faces (trim capping).
• Install LED lighting and ensure illuminated signs comply with Pro Sign, UL, and national electric codes. Coordinate with the art and CNC departments to expedite sign components while maintaining quality assurance and timeliness of workorder completion.
• Maintain a clean working area and stage any waste for removal.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and complete required safety trainings.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in the sign industry, a plastics or metals fabrication environment, or otherwise related industry that would provide the needed skills.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, reach, crouch, and twist frequently.
• Ability to manually handle plastic sheets, molds, tools, and machinery.
• Ability to work safely around production equipment including wearing mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following OSHA guidelines.
