Channel Manager – YouTube & Social Video

• $70,000 + super
• 12-month fixed term rolling contract

Do you have at least 1 year of hands-on experience managing YouTube and social video channels? Are you interested in growing audiences, improving channel performance and maximising video revenue?

We’re looking for a Channel Manager to join an established digital entertainment team, managing multiple entertainment brand channels across YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram and TikTok.

This is a hands-on role for someone who understands the day-to-day demands of channel management and can hit the ground running.

What you’ll be doing

• Managing and scheduling video content across multiple platforms
• Writing engaging titles, descriptions and video copy
• Creating thumbnails and graphic assets using Photoshop
• Working closely with editors to brief and develop video content
• Monitoring channel analytics and identifying opportunities to improve audience growth and monetisation
• Managing community engagement and moderation
• Applying platform best practices to improve content performance

What we’re looking for

• Previous hands-on experience managing entertainment brand channels across YouTube and other social video platforms
• An understanding of channel analytics, audience growth and video monetisation
• Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, including practical editing experience
• Excellent written English, attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• The ability to work independently while collaborating closely with editors and the wider team
