CHARGE HAND| Permanent Full-time | Palmerston North

• $29.31 per hour plus night rate ($3.29 per hour from 8pm to 6am)
• Shift: Monday - Friday 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM

Your previous experience in an operational environment will stand you in good stead and a fork-hoist licence will be advantageous. It goes without saying that you will have a commitment to excellence and proactive attitude to a team providing services at the highest possible standard. You might be in a similar role and looking for a change, or you may have been told that you are ready and able to step up into a supervisory position. This position is based at our Malden St location.

As a Charge Hand you will be required to:

• Ensure that courier products, parcels and mail are sorted according to set KPI's and criteria.
• Work closely with the Processing Team Leader to ensure that our operations are consistently smooth, efficient and safe during the shift.
• Support the staff and give clear directions to the team.
• Perform daily warehouse tasks as required

What you need to bring with you:

• Ability to lift 20-25kgs in a physically demanding environment
• Have an F endorsed or Osh approved forklift license (desireable)
• Ability to lead a diverse team and support accordingly
• Proven previous experience supervising/ managing a team
